  1. How is linen different from cotton?

While cotton is a great material, we choose to make all our bedding from linen. Linen is made from flax (and our linen is specifically 100% organic European flax), a wonderfully and naturally resilient plant. It requires less water and fewer chemicals to grow. It has a natural texture, breathes more easily, and softens with every wash. 

  1. What does GSM mean, and why does In Between use it?

GSM stands for grams per square metre and it’s how we measure both the weight and feel of our bedding. While thread count is more commonly known, it can be a bit misleading with natural fabrics like ours. By using GSM, we can convey a more honest sense of both softness and durability. 

  1. How should I care for my linen?

Linen doesn’t ask for much. A gentle wash (no more than 30°C) is perfect. Where possible, avoid the dryer and opt to hang out your bedding on the clothesline. However, if you have to use a dryer, a short and low dry is best!

  1. Will my linen feel soft right away?

Our linen is perfectly soft and ready for use from day 1, but we do recommend giving it a wash before sleeping in it. The best part about linen is it only gets gentler and dreamier with every single clean, and we want you to experience that for yourself.

  1. Is your linen sustainable?

Both sleep health and sustainability is at the core of what we do. Keeping that in mind, our flax is 100% organic and grown with low impact, and we make sure everything from dyeing to delivery stays mindful.

  1. Where do you currently ship to?

We currently ship anywhere within Australia, from coastal towns to country roads. If you’ve got a mailbox, we’ll find our way to it.

  1. Can I return something if it’s not quite right?

Of course! If there is any issue with your bedding, you are able to return it within 30 days. Just reach out to us through the contact form or by email, and we can guide you through the process, stress free!
